The Vortex Swim, 300 Nautical Miles Through Ocean Plastics

On June 12th, Ben Lecomte and his escort crew of nine left Oahu, Hawaii to start a 300 nautical mile (555.6 km) solo stage swim called The Vortex Swim through the heart of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
