Kurt Ott announced the 2nd annual Tampa Bay Frogman Swim, a 5K swim across Tampa Bay from St Petersburg to Tampa on January, 2nd 2011.

“The average water temperature is in the low 60°Fs (about 16°C) so wetsuits will be mandatory if the water is as cold as expected.”

“This is a fundraising event with 100% of proceeds being donated to the Naval Special Warfare Foundation which supports wounded and fallen Navy SEALs. Each swimmer is expected to fundraise with a goal of US$1000 each in pledges.”
