Hawaii’s Jeff Kozlovich will kayak for and report on a 17.5-mile Kaulakahi Channel swim from the island of Kauai to the privately-owned Forbidden Island of Niihau by Bill Goding, Quinn Carver, Jen Shumacher and Brian Denaro. The first Kaulakahi Channel crossing was done by Linda Kaiser, Laurie Foster, Mike Spalding and Tom Robinson in 2003 in 10:45.
