Swimming In The South Of Brazil

On November 22nd, an open water event organized by Mais Travessias was held at Itapuã Park in the Guaiba Lagoon in Port Alegre, Brazil.

It was a beautiful day and ambiance that the 54 swimmers competing in the 1.5 km sprint and 4 km Pombas Island Challenge and their families could easily appreciate,” reported Alice Correa Ferlin.

Diego Vidal won the men’s category in the 4 km race in 52:01 while Sabrina Mazzola Fernandes dos Santos was the top female in 1:03:19.

Emiliano Bothelho dos Santos won the men’s category in the 1.5 km sprint race in 27:36 while Cyntia Thompson was the top female in 29:42.
