Lynne Cox has come out with her sixth book*, Swimming in the Sink: An Episode of the Heart.
Amazon describes her latest gem as, “…a powerful book about super athleticism and human frailty, about invincibility and the sudden (mind-altering) repercussions of illness, and about the triumph of spirit, surrender, and love…Cox writes of her full surrender to her increasing physical frailty, to her illness, her treatment, her slow pull toward recovery.”
Cox’s previous books include Swimming to Antarctica, Grayson, South with the Sun: Roald Amundsen, His Polar Explorations, and the Quest for Discovery, The Day the Whale Came, and Open Water Swimming Manual: An Expert’s Survival Guide For Triathletes And Open Water Swimmers.
