France accepted the International Olympic Committee offer to host the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, whie the City of Los Angeles will have the honor of hosting the 2028 Olympic Games. 50 marathon swimmers (25 women + 25 men) will compete Olympic 10 km marathon swim along the Seine in Paris in 2024 and in a man-made canal in Long Beach in 2028 [shown above]. The Seine is a river that flows through Paris and ultimately into the English Channel.
