Swimming In Stages Down The Hudson River

Race director Rondi Davies summed up Stage 6 at the longest swimming race in the world, the 6th annual 7-day, 7-stage 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim in New York, “We had a fantastic day when everyone finished. Capri Djatiasmoro fought hard to reach the bridge as the flood tide pushed back. Third time’s the charm.
[At the front of the field,] going into the final stage Cheryl Reinke leads Paige Christie by 23 minutes.”
As co-race director David Barra is fond of saying, “Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.” And that is certainly what Reinke and Christie have done as they head into the final stage this morning.
