The natural beauty of Santorini with its beautiful sunsets, volcano, and views of the Aegean Sea is the site of the 7th annual Santorini Experience between October 3rd to 6th 2024.
The Experience includes its annual 2.4 km sea swim from the volcano to Fira with a course along the island. The swim will be held on Friday, October 4th at 10:00 a.m in 22-23°C water.
The elite open water swimmers include Italy’s Barbara Pozzobon, winner of the Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean, Hungary’s 4th place finisher at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Anna Olasz, Germany’s world champion Leonie Beck, and Italian professional marathon swimmer and European champion Mario Sanzullo. Italian Olympic and world championship coach Fabrizio Antonelli, who coaches Samantha Arévalo Salinas, Gregorio Paltrinieri, and Arianna Bridi, will also attend the event.
