Swimming For Life In The Hudson River

I kept on swimming, but I can’t seem to get there…,” so said Beth Rosen about her Hudson River Swim for Life. The video below explains her story.

2011 is the 20th anniversary of the 1-mile and 3-mile swims in the beautiful New York Hudson Valley. The event started with a single solo swimmer and has seen thousands of swimmers cross the expanse of the majestic Hudson River over the last two decades. The charity swim has supported several charities over the years and have raised approximately US$2 million for worthy causes, such as the Leukemia & Lymphona Society.

It is swimmers like Beth who are shining examples of the kinds of individuals who participate in the Hudson River Swim for Life that gives its participants plenty of ideas on how to raise money on behalf of others (see here).
