Swimming Against Walls, Jetties And Cliffs

Cañón del Sumidero in Mexico, Willoughby Lake in Vermont and many other open water swimming venues around the world have sheer majestic cliff walls where swimmers can cruise against sheer rock formations.

The colors and majesty of Lake Powell [shown above at Martin Strel’s swim camp] that borders the states of Utah and Arizona in America remind us of The Wall [shown below at Doug Woodring’s 5 km event] in Hong Kong Island half a world away.
