Swim Camp Mexico is an open water swimming camp held on March 14th – 18th 2018 in Baja California on the Sea of Cortez, Mexico.

Swim Camp Mexico is a boutique swimming camp limited to 30 athletes.

The host hotel is the Inn at Rancho Leonero, an old-style Mexican resort nestled between the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range and the Sea of Cortez on the southern Baja California peninsula, located on one of the best swimming beaches on the East Cape. The reef immediately in front of the hotel has an abundance of sea life. During March, whales can be seen passing only a few hundred yards from shore.

Camp director Scott Zornig explains, “Our swim camps are a place for like-minded adults to come together and share their love of open water swimming. Unlike many adult swim camps, we do not offer stroke analysis or coaching. Campers simply swim as much or as little as they chose. Schedules are loosely written so that swimmers can workout, relax and socialize in a resort setting amongst peers. There are few requirements other than to practice safe swimming and have fun.

We plan our camps during months when many are looking for a break from the winter cold. The average air temperature is 81°F in Cabo San Lucas while the water temperature averages 72°F respectively with near-perfect conditions and clear visibility due to the protected location of each venue.”

Fees are US$575 per person until October 31st and US$675 after November 1st 2017.
