Legendary Filipino triathlete Frank Lacson and the Pinoy Aquaman and attorney Ingemar Patiño Macarine successfully swam 10.38 km in 3 hours 47 minutes across Subic Bay from Grande Island, Bataan to Barrio Barretto in Olongapo City, Philippines.

The tandem swim was the first time that Subic Bay was crossed.

The charity swim by the 52-year-old triathlete and the 38-year-old English Channel aspirant benefitted Bicycle Friendly Philippines and raised money for victims of cycling accidents.

Thanks to our principal sponsors Century Tuna and Lighthouse Marina Resort,” wrote Macarine. “Special thanks also to Standard Insurance, Sunrise Events, Playa Papagayo Beach Inn & Resto, Ayala Harbor Point Mall, Unilab Active Health, Big Tree Online Solutions, Barangay Barreto, 96.1 K-Lite FM & Johngraphics.

Donations are still being accepted here.”
