The 2016 USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships doubled as the Canadian qualification race for the second Olympic 10K Marathon Swim qualification event in Portugal.

Jade Dusablon (shown above) and Stephanie Horner both qualified. “Stephanie had pneumonia only 3 weeks ago and we didn’t even know we would be here. This is great,” said her coach Ron Jacks.
