Helen Beveridge is an open water swimmer based in Scotland who became hooked on the sport of open water swimming in 2011 after booking a SwimTrek Central Lakes weekend with friends.

In two years Beveridge succeeded in completing a solo crossing of the English Channel in support of Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland in 19 hours 27 minutes. The next year, she headed to California and completed a crossing of the Catalina Channel in 13 hours 43 minutes. On June 16th, she achieved the famed Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming with a 9 hour 39 minute circumnavigation at the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim.

In between these marathons, she did a variety of swims where she raised money, made friends and embarked on a journey of a lifetime.
