The Cyprus Israel Swim has begun on its 400 km non-stop 6-man relay from Paphos Port Cyprus in Cyprus to Israel this morning.

Udi Erell, Doron Amosi, Ben Enosh, Ori Sela, Oded Rahav, and Luc Chetboun are off on their attempt to break the record for the longest non-stop 6-person open water relay record after their aborted relay last October.

The sextet will try to extend the current Night Train Swimmers’ relay record from 367 km (228 miles down the coast of California) to 400 km (248.5 miles).
