Doug Woodring traveled from Hong Kong and Carina Bruwer traveled from South Africa to the northwest coast of Italy. They are both participating in the Swim The Island event along with many others around the world at the Isola di Bergeggi.
“Great event with over 1,200 swimmers, organized by Matteo Testa, plus hundreds of others trying to register late.
Carina did her 18 km charity swim – swimming the 6 km Swim The Island course three times in order to raise funds for children’s cancer in South Africa as one of our new ocean ambassadors.”
