At the quadrennial International Symposium on Biomechanics and Medicine in Swimming, there are all kinds of fascinating findings and powerful presentations on swimming.

The Biomechanics and Medicine in Swimming is an international conference held every 4 years that covers a wide range of issues and research findings associated with the aquatic sciences. The conference will occur in Australia for the first time in its 44 year history and is being hosted by the Australian Institute of Sport, Swimming Australia and the John Curtin School of Medical Research at the Australian National University.

Abstracts are invited on the following topics:

A 350-word abstract may be submitted for either a 15-minute oral presentation or a poster presentation. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Accepted abstracts will be selected for either oral or poster presentation and the abstracts published in the Conference Handbook.
