Stefan Reinke reported the results of the 39th Possibly Annual Looong Distance Roughwater Swim held across Waikiki Bay in Honolulu on October 28th. Locally known as the Double Roughwater for its two-way course over the original Waikiki Roughwater Swim, swimmers often face good conditions in one direction and not-as-good conditions going in the other direction.

The swim starts and finishes on Kaimana Beach, right near the Diamond Head volcanic cone on Oahu.
