It is safe to say no one has swum as far in the Red River flowing between the U.S. states of North Dakota and Minnesota than Sandra Frimerman-Bergquist.
In her sixth career (END-WET) river swim, the 34-year-old defended her title in 9 hours 40 minutes, beating a stellar field including veterans Cheryl Reinke, Diego López and Stephen Rouch.
