Ann Ford captured some great images of Melissa Gorman (left) and Christine Jennings (right) just exiting the water at the Fran Crippen SafeSwim 10K.

Melissa just barely nipped Christine at the end of the race, an elite 10K pro swim with an onshore finish that celebrated the life and legacy of International Marathon Swimming Hall of Famer Fran Crippen.

The top five female finishers were quite close.

Emily Brunemann (left) and Claire Thompson (right) finished together after being in the tight lead pack with Melissa, Christine and third-place finisher Eva Fabian.
