A trio of marathon swims – 160 km in total, nearly 100 miles – will take place in January and February in Argentina.

The first race of the trifecta of pro swim is the 15 km Maratón Acuática Internactional Ciudad de Rosario in Rosario.

A week later, the 57 km Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe – Coronda in Santa Fe is held followed 7 days later by the 88 Maratón Hernandarias-Paraná in the Paraná River (shown below).

Long, long, long swims with tens of thousands of spectators in a wonderful extravaganza of open water swimming brilliance.
