Last year in February, Canadian Rob Hutchings swam a fast 256 km over 4 and a half days down the full length of the Clutha River from the outlet at Lake Wanaka to the mouth at the Pacific Ocean on the South Island of New Zealand, escorted by Sam Blummers and Laura Tomson.
“I had a lot of fun with that swim, the biggest adventure of my life.”
