Today, Rene Martínez Saenz of Mexico completed a 13 hour 37 minute crossing of the English Channel from England to France.
“I did the crossing with the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation on the Gallivant with Captain Michael Oram and Nora Toledano as my coach. I raised funds again for our NGO Pelagic Life for marine conservation.
It was an unparalleled experience to swim the channel and I am very happy to be advancing on my marathon swim experience and journey.”
