Harry Raisbeck Winter Mile is part of the Brighton Baths Winter Swimming Carnival and is named for Harry Raisbeck (1910-2010) who was a member and president of the Black Rock Icebergers of Melbourne, Australia and swam daily at the Brighton Baths until he was 95 years.

In addition to the mile, a 150m Ice Cube Dash and a 800m John Dineen Half Mile (3 laps of the Brighton Sea Baths) is also offered.
