One of the original purposes of creating the Daily News of Open Water Swimming was to help make the heroes and heroines of the sport more widely known.
From north to south, from east to west, from fresh to salt, from cold to warm, the goal of the Daily News of Open Water Swimming is to make the names of swimmers household names among the swimming fraternity and to help publicize their accomplishments as well as to disseminate the news, trends, and issues of the day to the global community.
