With two days of exciting competition behind us at the 2011 FINA Open Water Swimming Championships, it’s on to the 5K team pursuit event today. This is an exciting event that features 3 swimmers (two from one gender and one from the other – e.g., 2 men, 1 woman, or 2 women and 1 man) race together as a team, drafting and navigating the course in a manner that is often seen in road bicycle races.
