I have been humbled to stand on the same pool deck alongside French Philippe Lucas,” said Chris Morgan about the most successful coach in the open water swimming events at the 2017 FINA World Championships. “He is able to push his athletes to superhuman performances. He preaches the ‘grind’ and it is not easy, but his passion for his athletes and the results they have produced speak for themselves.”

Not only did he coach world championship medalists Aurélie Muller [shown above] and Marc-Antoine Olivier of France, but also Sharon von Rouwendaal of the Netherlands to recent open water success.
