The legendary dynamo Penny Dean will give a speech to the Triathlon Club of San Diego on June 2nd.

Penny, along with fellow Hall of Famer John Kinsella, in the 1970’s truly elevated the quality of marathon swimming with her focused workouts and extraordinarily fast channel crossings. Penny and John looked at marathon swims as flat-out races where a quick arm tempo and fast kick was something to be done for miles and miles and miles.

Penny is on a West Coast tour where she will observe the upcoming USA Swimming National Open Water Swimming Championships and participate in theGlobal Open Water Swimming Conference.
