One Cold Day In Hong Kong

The 7th annual Cold Half & Cold Plunge winter swim races will be held in Hong Kong on January 26th 2019.

The Cold Half is a 15 km solo or 2-person relay race with a limited number of entries. “It is a first come, first serve basis,” explains Doug Woodring. “For those who don’t mind the chill, but aren’t crazy about the distance, join the Cold Plunge – a 1.5 km race held concurrently from Deep Water Bay Beach. Wetsuits are welcomed.”

Both races will finish at Deep Water Bay Beach with hot showers, a post-race BBQ, and the award ceremony held at Victoria Recreation Club.

Registration will close on January 24th 2019. For more information and to register, visit here.

The event is organized by AVRA that supports Ocean Recovery Alliance, a Hong Kong ocean conservation and education not-for-profit organization.
