On Cruise Control In The Open Water

Sid Cassidy, whose career spans every aspect of open water swimming – a pro marathon swimmer, channel swimmer, record holder, coach, administrator, official and lecturer – is branching out to share his expertise and love of the open water aboard a luxury yacht.

Sid, his wife Kara and long-time friend Capitan William L. Phillips III are now on Cruise Control with their inaugural cruise shoving off Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and including the Nike Swim Miami.

It will be an unprecedented opportunity to learn from one of the best minds in open water swimming amid pure luxury in beautiful warm waters.

As Sid says, “Do you have an urge to improve the swim leg of your triathlon? Would you like to master the many challenges of open water swimming? Do you have Ironman aspirations? Is the English Channel on your bucket list? Or perhaps you are simply interested in a new and exhilarating way to enjoy the beauty of open water swimming with Cruise Control.”

We offer the opportunity to enjoy an exciting luxury vacation that combines your athletic pursuit with unmatched fun and relaxation.”

Sid will also appear on Open Water Wednesday next week to give an overview of his four-decade career in the open water world – which includes everything from being the starter at the 2008 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim to being a member of the world record English Channel relay team and his latest Cruise Control venture.
