Olympic Firepower In The Open Water

The Fran Crippen Elevation Foundation and the International Swimming Hall of Fame have put together one of the most star-studded open water swimming clinics ever held in America this weekend in Fort Lauderdale.

7-time Olympic medalist Aaron Peirsol (5 gold, 2 silver), one of the most remarkable watermen in contemporary times (shown bodysurfing below), 3-time Olympic medalist Peter Vanderkaay (2 gold, 1 bronze), Olympians Kalyn Keller and Chloe Sutton and USA Swimming national open water swim team members Christine Jennings, Conor Dwyer, Teresa Crippen and Madison Kennedy will describe and demonstrate the basics and the subtleties of open water swimming.

The two-hour open water swimming clinic will take place after the 1 Mile Dash for Cash and the 10K Marathon Swim on Fort Lauderdale’s Alexander Park.
