OceanFit’s Ocean Swimming Survey

Andre Slade of OceanFit compiles the results of his annual survey in order to find out what makes open water swimmers tick.

People who complete this year’s survey have a chance to win a share in $4,500 in prizes including that sensational trip for two to the Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim in November. The Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim is a 750m and 2 km ocean swim on Hamilton Island, Australia in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.

Someone has to win it, so if you’d like to be like Nicole Logan who last year had an awesome time on Hamilton Island, then complete our survey today.

Our survey results are fed this information back to ocean swim organisers to help them deliver even better events. In 2015 over 850 people participated.

This year we have new questions that look at things like sharks and starting systems.

Complete this year’s survey and you’ll go in the draw to win a $2,000 experience for two on Hamilton Island to participate in the Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim + $2,500 in other prizes. The major prize includes flights for two adults (ex Sydney), two nights accommodation, island activities, entry to the ocean swim, and a meet-and-greet with the event ambassador.”

The survey is here.
