Pádraig Mallon of Infinity Channel Swimming and Piloting Services loves a challenge.

The fourth of the Celtic Quadrant swims is the 40 km Oa Channel from the Isle of Islay in Scotland to Ireland.

Olive Conroy, John McElroy, Ruth McGuigan, Patrick Corcoran, Noel Grimes and Fergil Hesterman will attempt to become the first relay team to successfully cross the Oa Channel.

There is three tides converging were the swim course crosses, but they have speed and endurance aplenty,” says Mallon.

The clock is ticking to their swim date; stay tuned here for updates.”
