These amateur swims started with Kingdom Swim in 2009. The Willoughby Swim was added in 2010, followed by In Search of Memphre in 2011, Caspian Swim in 2012, and the full NEK Swim Week in 2013. The first years saw a handful of swimmers each day of NEK Swim Week. They have grown steadily ever since.”
