Nejib Belhedi‘s next World Iron Swim will call the Tunisian swimmer to pull a SONOTRAK ship weighing over 1000 tons in Sfax, Tunisia on May 22nd.

Ridha Ammar, Chairman and CEO of SONOTRAK, and Slim Tissaoui, Governor of Sfax, are in full support of this unprecedented boat pull.

There will be no initial propulsion of the vessel given by its pilot, the speed of the boat will not be engaged, and the boat’s propellers will remain in total stop as I attempt to pull the boat of more than 1000 tons hundreds of meters at the Port of Sfax for 30 minutes in duration,” Belhedi explained about the Iron Swim1000.

Belhedi is aiming to swim at least 200 meters with the boat behind him and perhaps more.
