Ned Denison will be sweating it big-time during his 35 km swim across False Bay. But not due to the reportedly 19 different shark sightings within the last 4 days.
Denison has been training daily in the presence of the abundant Great White Sharks without problems, but it is the unexpectedly warm 17°C water temperatures that will surprise the merman from Ireland.
His start time is scheduled for early Sunday morning. His swim is being covered by Owen O’Keefe on his blog here.
