Organisers of the New Zealand Ocean Swim Series corrected information on the male 2015-2016 series winner.

New Zealand Ocean Swim Series event organiser Scott Rice explains, “Due to a glitch in our internal system, we incorrectly declared Kane Radford the series winner after his decisive win at our series finale, the King of the Bays yesterday.”

Both Kane Radford and Nathan Capp won three events in the series, creating a tiebreaker situation based on the best three finishes of the seven season events.

After calculating the margins of their respective wins, Capp was declared the winner along with Charlotte Webby who secured the female title. It was Capp’s second consecutive title.
