Nathalie Luisa (née Pohl) set her second career open water swimming record yesterday with a fast 2 hour 53 minute crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar.

The speedster from Marsburg, Germany has competed internationally (15 km Cold Half Extreme Marathon Swim in Hong Kong and the 26.4 km International Self-Transcendence Marathon-Schwimmen) and previously set the record for swimming widthwise across the Bodensee from Friedrichshafen in Germany to Romanshorn in Switzerland.
