Under towering Mount Fuji, Miyuki Fujita broke her own world record for a three-way crossing of Suruga Bay.

On November 16th, she powered through faster second and third legs to complete the 30 km swim in Suruga Bay between Awa Island and Cape Ose in 11 hours 13 minutes. Her previous record was 13 hours 6 minutes, done in October.

Her record was entered into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame online archives.
