Under Way in the NEK
DERBY, VERMONT – A full season of small group, socially distanced open water swimming is now well under way in the legendary lakes of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
So far, Kingdom Games has hosted three Clubhous Swims, with four more scheduled in July and August. Also coming up is a revamped Small Group NEK Swim Week on August 8 to 16 with eight days of swimming on seven lakes. Caspian and Willoughby have filled, but there is still room on other days of the week. See our full Schedule of Swims
We have established Rules and Standards for these swims that swimmers and yackers have followed diligently. They have allowed us to re-open, minimizing the risk of spreading Covid-19, and allowing open water swimmers and their yackers to get back in the water.
