Martin Strel, the Big River Man who has swum down the Amazon River, the Mississippi River, the Colorado River, the Yangtze River and the Danube River with several other swims recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records entertained and enlightened the audience at the 2011 Global Open Water Swimming Conference at Columbia University this weekend.
“I enjoyed my time here with everyone in the marathon swimming world,” smiled Martin who had just finished filming with Stan Lee for the Discovery Channel.
