Home of the world’s renowned open water swimming epicenters, Ireland’s Cork has all kinds of playful and seriously-minded marine life roaming in its waters.

Photo on right is the logo of the Munster Mermaids, a 5-women relay team that successfully crossed the English Channel relay that raised €6,583 to support Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, Ireland. Its members include Maura O’Callaghan, Grace O’Callaghan, Maeve Mulcahy, Sandra Howard and Anna Maria Mullally.
