This weekend, August 13th-14th, there will be four major international competitions as well as hundreds of local and amateur open water swimming events around the world.

First off on Saturday is the inaugural 10K races at the 2011 Summer Universiade in Shenzhen, China.

Then the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim test event, called the London 10km Marathon Swimming International will take place in Hyde Park – 10 am GMT for women and 2 pm GMT for men. [Read More…]
