Life membership in the Rottnest Channel Swim Association is special, confirmed at the annual general meeting of the Rottnest Channel Swim, for meritorious service made by members or committee members.* Those who have been awarded life membership include:

The next 19.7 km Rottnest Channel Swim will be held February 24th 2018.

* The majority of the Rottnest Channel Swim Association’s membership comprises of swimmers who have completed a ratified solo crossing in the past five years. Solo crossings can be completed at the annual event and are automatically recognized or as part of a non-event swim that are required to be ratified by the Rottnest Channel Swim Association committee.

Membership is valid for five years from the first annual general meeting following a crossing. Five-year membership recommence when any subsequent solo crossings are completed within this time. Swimmers who have not completed a solo crossing in the past five years and supporters of the Rottnest Channel Swim Association can become a member by purchasing a membership for $10.
