Jose Diaz, the most prolific writer and commentator in the Spanish-speaking open water swimming world is publishing a book in May that is inspired by open water swimming. The book is called The sacred masks in Wakahay Island (Las Máscaras sagradas en la isla de Wakahay in Spanish).
“It is a beautiful story that is part of a conservation project of the oceans,” explains Jose Diaz. “There are many people and moments that have inspired me to create different environments and situations, and their great adventures in Okinawa. I enjoyed giving life to these legendary characters motivated by the great career open water that is living in the moment.”
