In a news story from Reuters, 23-year-old Chinese swimming coach Zhang Jie from the Beijing Sports University is planning to swim 80K across Lake Khanka in August that may take her up to 40 hours.

Lake Khanka sits on the border between China and Russia where an open water swimming competition will be held between Chinese and Russian swimmers on August 8th, which is China’s national fitness day.
