Together with Jeff Miller of the Virgin Islands and Greg O’Connor of Massachusetts, New Yorker Lori King was nominated for the 2016 Yudovin Award for Most Adventurous Swim.

King, who replicated a circumnavigation first done 40 years ago, took 21 hours 19 minutes to complete a 36.5-mile circumnavigation swim around Bermuda together with support crew members Mike Cash, observers Nick Strong and Ilya Cherapau, captains Jim Butterfield and Brian Estes, kayakers Russell Demoura and Alex Hammond, photographer Roseli Johnson, feeder/pace swimmer Devon Clifford, and coach Bonnie Schwartz.
