Kickin’ It At Home – Leg Day

Many competitive swimming pool are closed during the growing coronavirus pandemic. American open water swimmer Lexie Kelly is leading daily online workouts via Instagram Live @SwimOutlet this week. @lexiekellyswim is coaching live at-home dryland workouts every day from 10 am – 11 am California time.

On Day 2, she did the following Kickin’ it at Home dryland workout for SwimOutlet participants:

Warm-up Set
Exercise #1: Streamlining 200 freestyle + 150 breaststroke + 100 backstroke + 50 butterfly

Preset
Exercise #2: 8 x 25 @ 30 seconds, 20 seconds of lil’ swimmers + 10 seconds rest
Exercise #3: 4 x 25 @ 30 seconds, freestyle kick on odds + butterfly kick on evens

Main set of 8 rounds of 1:00 exercise + 30 seconds rest
Exercise #4: 30 seconds of streamline squats + 15 seconds pulse + 15 seconds pulse
Exercise #5: Butt kickers
Exercise #6: Lateral breaststroke with 2 kicks + 1 squat
Exercise #7: Leg raisers with 30 seconds of right leg + 30 seconds of left leg
Exercise #8: Streamline burpees
Exercise #9: Lunges
Exercise #10: Squat jacks
Exercise #11: Freestyle kick with fins on
