Dr. Keith Bell, leads the first day of the Tex Robertson Highland Lakes Challenge with a 1:29:18 first leg in Lake Buchanan, Texas. Despite the surface chop caused by the 20 mph winds, Keith and the rest of the swimmers swam well and are preparing for Stage 2 on Day 2 in Inks Lake. Keith’s escort kayaker is Tyler Robertson, grandson of Tex Robertson for whom the race is named.
