Jordan Wilimovsky Honored By USA Swimming

Jordan Wilimovsky, originally from Malibu, California where he has always enjoying swimming and surfing, was named the 2018 Male Open Water Swimmer of the Year and Fran Crippen Memorial Male Open Water Swimmer of the Year by USA Swimming.

The two-time (1500m and 10 km) Olympian and 2016 world champion comfortably beat the best swimmers from Brazil, USA, Japan, Australia, Canada, Ecuador and New Zealand at the 10 km race at the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Tateyama Hojo Beach, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, is the odds-on favorite to upset Ferry Weertman at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics 10 km race [see post-race interview above].
